I have two bazaar this weekend, so I'm now in the factory mode. :)

This time around Sewfabby will be at booth #7, nearby Sasa shop at Level 2, Subang Parade.

on Sunday, we'll be at Publika for our next session of Fuyoh Art Bazaar, Publika

plus, we'll be having mini workshop as well all day long...!!

Class #1 at Art 2

i had so much fun yesterday at Art 2 with my first batch (wah.. macam cikgu kan?)

small group yesterday, which helped because i was soo nervous

but all of them were so easy to teach, so cooperative and fun..!

help needed: name my bag

i'm afraid of zippers, that's my confession on this lovely friday. i love bags with zippers, but i still haven't venture into making bags with zipper closure, not without a request from customer. 

last week, i intended to make a simple rectangular sling bag for myself. no zippers, but i want the bag to be a safe bag for me to carry it around. tapi masih tak dapat idea selain daripada gunakan button. 

this was how the bag looked before i went to sleep that night. .

the next morning, came to my mind, a drawstring pouch. i quickly grabbed my puncher & hammer.

and this was how the bag turned out to be

something like a drawstring pouch, 

but i used eyelets instead of inserting the string into the bag body. 

made a last minute twist to the bag, by making it more roomy with the boxy base

now... i'm looking for a perfect name for this bag

Sewing Workshop: Art2, Publika

I'll be conducting a sewing workshop at Publika next week.

This session, we'll be making Owl Pillow where I'll bring the kit and participants get to chose their favorite fabrics/ patterns. I'll teach how to cut, hand stitching the eyes & beak and assembling the whole pillow.
