New Design for Owl Plushies

Say hello to our latest Owl Plushie design, Gerty.

Since I'm now addicted to appliques & embroideries, I added some appliques to this plushie, making it more special :)

As you can see in the photo, Gerty has a hair clip! Flower applique and at the tummy part, I added a double heart applique. If you wish to give Gerty as a present for boy, I'll drop the hair clip part no worries. Gerty's size is 15" x 14", made from cotton & felt fabric, selling at RM75 only.

Kusarungkan Kasih: September 1000 Pillowcases Drive

This September, the wonderful ladies of GMJ Club are organizing this 1000 Pillowcases Drive under Kusarungkan Kasih project. The target is (obviously) collecting 1000 pieces of pillowcase to be given to cancer patients at hospitals around Malaysia. This project is also similar to ConKerr Cancer project back in the US. For info, September is the Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Why pillowcase? Well it may sounds simple and just a pillowcase, but it means a lot for them to receive such cool & colorful pillowcase rather than a normal white pillowcase provided at the hospital. And how special they'll feel to receive gifts!

There are many ways for you to help with this project, you can either:

1. Sew a (or more!) pillowcase, the size is 29 x 19 inches and send to the collection center before 30 September 2013
2. Buy some cotton fabrics, and send to the volunteers for them to sew (please click here to get the collection center address and closing date)
3. Donate cash, to purchase fabrics

Pelikat Pants available at Sew Fabby

The pants are available by order, from newborn to 2T size with price starting from RM25. 

The bandana bib is RM12 each

New Prints for Telekung Pouch

Finally I managed to sew some of these telekung pouch. You've seen them before here.

This time around, I made it slightly bigger than previous batch (1inch bigger) and sew the strap to the body. I personally think that this design is much more sturdy and large enough for you to put your socks, make-ups or small toiletries.
